Ian Eliason, of Victoria, built this 1929 Ford Roadster in his own shed.
The ’29 body appears stock, with full fenders and painted red. The car also has a complete black vinyl roof with side curtains.
Build photos show split front and rear wishbones, and a raised rear cross-member.
“When Ian Eliason was building this I got to see what it takes to build a car. This was built with minimal tools. He didn’t even have an angle grinder. After boxing the chassis with an arc welder the welds were filed down by hand.” – David Eliason [1]
Later iterations also show an enclosed hood with gold highlights, and a chrome front bumper.
Ian also constructed a matching red box trailer.
