Ern Harewood’s 1932 Ford Sports Coupe ‘Little Sport’

Ern Harewood of Victoria owned this ’32 Ford sports coupe nicknamed ‘Little Sport’ in the 1960s and ’70s.

The channelled body had a black vinyl top and cycle guards on all corners.

It is pictured in 1962 to be powered by a flathead Ford with an air scoop grafted onto the bonnet top.

Other images depict a change from this set up, including a Ford Windsor 289ci V8 and a polished firewall.

Further upgrades included a round-tube front axle and pinstripe whitewall tyres.

Ern sold the car to Maurie Stevens in the 1970s and as of 2008 was still in Maurie’s possession. [1]
